D-sonic vs Anthem STR

Its upgrade time and I can’t decide which way to go.  For a while now D-sonic has been at the top of my list however a distant friend who owns a home audio shop stated he would sell me whatever I want at 10-20% over cost, no clue what that actual price is.

so I am considering a pair of D-sonic M3a-1500 mono block amps or Anthem STR power amp.  Obviously the D-sonic has a bit more power, and will probably cost a bit less for the pair of mono blocks.  However no clue how either will sound 

speakers are the old infinity kappa 8.1’s which will be upgraded one of these days to a larger infinity speaker which is why I was thinking the 1500w d-sonic amps.
