Preamp Deal of the Century

If anyone is looking for a true "World Class" preamp at a very fair price..heed my advice. I just recieved a Supratek Syrah preamp that was hand built by Mick Maloney in Western Australia, and it is absolutely beautiful! This preamp is the best deal you will ever find. I would put it up against any preamp out there for both looks and sound. Price? $2500 for the Syrah (includes Killer Phono stage). Not into phono? Try the Chardonney line stage for $2100. Don't get me wrong, I am not associated with this company. I am just a very happy owner! This preamp is VERY dynamic, yet liquid. It conveys the sound of music better than any other preamp that I have ever heard! You can check out the Supratek website at www. cantech.net.au

I just received new Chenin from Mick, cannot make any comments yet, it's still in the box.
I have heard the new preamps.
Not sure of the model I heard as it was a prototype but Mick said it would be the new mid priced one [Syrah?]
I hate to say it but it sounded at least as good as my Cabernet.
Can someone advise if a Supratek pre-amp can be converted from 110 VAC to 220 VAC? Mine is a Cortese in USA.
And the obvious question would be can old ones be upgraded? Or, (I'm sure he doesn't want to be deluged with old stuff in the mail) can an 'upgrade pack' and instructions for a local tube-expert guy to do be purchased? Obviously not now, but its a thought. If the sound difference is substantial could be worth it. I suppose first we should see what people think about the difference. I have a Chardonnay personally.
