Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

@teajay thanks for the review. I appreciate your efforts to find the affordable gems that bring great sound to those of us who can’t or do not want to spend huge amounts of money.
Wondering if anyone else here is using a Hornshoppe Truth line stage with their Tektons. I would be most interested in your amplifier experience with this combo.

LP, I use the Truth line stage with my Coincident Dynamo 34SE MKII and upgraded Tekton Pendragons.  It's hard to describe a line stage that seems nonexistent - it's so transparent that I can't differentiate it between a direct connection.  I have zero complaints and nothing but praise for the Truth, which is woefully underpriced.

My hope for the future is upgrading to an Aric Audio 300B SET amp and Tekton Double Impact SE's, and the Truth will remain in the chain - I don't know what else could possibly be an improvement, especially at that price.

@64voxac30
I was considering the Dynamo but went with a Had Inspire SEP for my D.I.'s. The Had is a really nice amp however not IMO a perfect match gain wise.

I wholeheartedly agree that the Truth stays no matter what.

I will p.m. you to avoid hijacking this thread.

@jcarcopo Checking in, on the eve of our friendly wager. : )

@64voxac30  The Truth and Aric Audio 300B driving the SEs...can't wait to hear your impressions when this comes together.
