Tube amp/preamp options for Tekton Enzo XL's (Budget
I’m starting the search for a tube preamp/amp/integrated setup to pair with my Tekton Enzo XL’s. The budget is $2,000 max but if I could pay <$1,500 I’d be really happy!
My current amp is a NAD 326BEE. Sources are phono coming from LoungeAudio LCR MKIII and output from Beresford Bushmaster DAC. The system is for music only, no TV/movies. We listen to Jazz, Classical, Classic Rock, Blues primarily and almost never more than 90 SPL. Our room is fairly big (23x18 with vaulted ceiling) and we sit about 10 feet from speakers, but I haven’t pushed the NAD past 11 o’clock so I don’t think I’d need anymore than 40 watts max. The Enzo’s are pretty efficient.
I’m open to any combo that fits and is w/in budget. I’m fine with used as well but I want to stick with current products not vintage.
Any suggestions most appreciated!
