Vibration Meter.....

For what it's worth, I was interested to see how my speakers vibrated with bass implied.

App is....

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kr.sira.vibration

Also available for ios....

I noticed very little vibration say on pluck of acoustic bass and no activity really on the sustain which I would think implies I am not getting any real smear as well as bass drum. Kick intervals too...

Again for what its worth might be interesting to some....I also put Ipad on floor as well as top of speaker and diffefent areas of my room.

Can  you tell how accurate the app is on your phone?  If it is repeatable and linear, you can use it for relative measurements rather than absolute ones.  Relative measurements should be fairly accurate.  I'd be real suspect of absolute measurements such as you are taking.

I believe it was Linn, many years ago, who did some research on how much woofers move a cabinet.   They found that the cabinet moves a hundred times more than the tweeter.   This research brought about satellite speakers with the woofers in separate cabinets, if I remember the history correctly.
