Yo Ray, haven't heard Making Magic yet. I think I bought Crash and Burn when I was like 16 - a little too young to be able to afford collecting at that point. I recall listening to a later album of his and thought it was a little too synthesized for my tastes so I lost interest. I got back into Pat about 10 years ago when he started releasing some blues stuff. Interesting note about the Crash and Burn album pressing - if you look closely at the edge of the label you will see the words (and, ahem...graphic) "Macho side" and "Pussy side" etched on either side. I think this needs no explanation. I'll be on the lookout for some "Magic".
