Discovering I may have the cleanest AC power in USA
FYI update and the blinking blue lights. When I moved my cable box from my Furman Power Conditioner to the wall, the noise harvester on the front of my FPC stopped blinking.  It would start blinking when I turned on my power amps.  The one in the w...
A good sounding amp for my GoldenEar Refderence
I have T1s with a XXL center.  When I went from driving the center with a multi channel Parasound A51 to a JC1 monoblock like the other two front channels, the sound cleared up and improved quite a bit.  Maybe if you used a comparable monoblock fo...

@spatialking - Thanks for the info.  I'll let you know how it all comes out.
Discovering I may have the cleanest AC power in USA
I was wondering about Romex inside conduit and didn't think it was used that way.  I want to keep the same form of solid conductors like inside the wall instead of using stranded wire.  I do like the idea of some type of shielding, also.  I think ...
Discovering I may have the cleanest AC power in USA
Update:  in case you're interested.I found my JC 1s plugged into  F Elite 20 cause the blue light to blink on front and rear outlets when powered on.  Also, my Cox contour cable box adds noise even when off, but no noise added to the main line.  M...
Discovering I may have the cleanest AC power in USA
Since I use the front Furman outlet to connect my TT motor when in use, I had moved the harvesters to other shared wall outlets and very rarely.saw them blink.  After seeing your post, I tried moving them back.  My SS class A/B amps are plugged in...

I got two of those harvesters, also.  My HT/2ch is in the living room on a shared 20A circuit.  When I plugged 1 into the shared wall circuit, it blinked a little and then went out,  When I plug the other one into the front outlet of my Furman Eli...
Mounting TV Above Fireplace
I put in a great Heat N Glow gas insert, puts out a lot of heat.  It gave minimum distances to flammable material specs.  You don't want to get your TV too close.  My TV was up high but tilted down a little.  When reclined in my chair with my head...
OPPO 205 VS 105 QUESTIONS
I have a 105D and didn't buy the 205 on the first run because of the lack of some features, specifically the powered HDMI input on the front and the streaming capabilities.  Gracenote wasn't a deal breaker.  I was hoping OPPO would come out with a...
Audyssey and Tritons
I've found the same thing with my T1s and Audyssey.  After set up, I go back in to manual mode.  I change the fronts to large to use the GE crossover on the T1s.  I have the LFE connected to use the T1s subs for the center and other 4 surrounds.  ...
What Center Channel are you using in your Home Theater?
It's my understanding that the closer to the corners you have your speakers, the more increase in bass you'll have and muddy the sound of your room.  You didn't mention your ceiling height, but I'm guessing you have your front LRC positioned the w...
What Center Channel are you using in your Home Theater?
I have GE rig also with T1"s.  I haven't upgraded to the T refs, yet.  I'm curious about your HT dimensions and what processor you're using.  Also, how and where do you have your speakers placed?  What room treatments have you tried?
