Dunlavy SCIVA'S... Mine sound bland A big Mac. Monoblocks, if you can afford them (cheaper, if used, abviously). If will deliver consistent power, regardless of the ohms and it will be smooth, as per your taste.
Curious what people think is the best "value" high end speaker (~5K to 15K) Egglestonworks Rose, Fontaine, Camilla
Cannot find perfect sound Stevecham - You left one out - Green Mountain Audio
Thiel CS2.4 to what? audiojan, the amps I am considering are the Bel Canto 600 Ref monos, Parasound JC1 monos, Pass Labs 150 INT, Benchmark AHB2 run in mono. I'm strictly a non-streaming digital guy, so front end will be PS Audio DAC and Transport.
Thiel CS2.4 to what? I'm also thinking about picking up a pair of Thiel speakers. Looking at 1.7, 2.7 and 2.3. Sounds like I would need to budget for a sub for any of these options in my 24 x 16 x 8 room.
Adirondack Audio Having grown up in upstate NY, with my family having a boat on Lake George, I can attest to the truth of your statement.
Green Mountain Audio Chroma HX Review I'm glad to hear that GMA is still around. I looked at these before I bought my Egglestonworks Andra 2 and liked the design ethos. I'm looking for monitors for a small system and may need to revisit if there is somewhere in SoCal to hear them. |
