Auralic vs Aurender
wjt3- there is no HDMI connection of the G1, only on the G2/GX series. It is not compatible with the I2S on the DSD, only as Lightning Link exclusively between the Auralic components.  I have an Aries G2 and it sounds fantastic streaming to the PSA...
Auralic Vega G2 vs Aries G2
While I can't comment (yet) on the Vega G2 specifically I can on the Aries G2.  I have had one in my system for two months and my experience parallels nickaspappas's: streaming with the Aries is nothing short of spectacular.  I stream hi-res Tidal...
Auralic Vega G2 DAC with an Esoteric Master Clock
Have you done any tube rolling in your Mac pre?  My speakers have AMT tweeters which tend to be on the warm side. I rolled tubes in my BHK pre and knew immediately when I found the right ones.  When I added the Auralic Aries G2 it didn't make my s...
Auralic Vega G2 DAC with an Esoteric Master Clock
How would you describe the two tonal qualities?
Auralic Vega G2 DAC with an Esoteric Master Clock
No worries.  Why not consider the upcoming Auralic Sirius G2? Don't know if you are going to do much better feeding the signal from the Grandioso through the Auralic stack.  Spent a little time today scouring for any reviews I could find.  Posted ...
Wait For PS Audio TSS Super Dac Or Go With Auralic G2/GX Stack Now?
According to this review the Vega G2/Leo GX should be on the short list for those of us streaming hi-res content.https://hometheaterhifi.com/reviews/dac/auralic-vega-g2-dac-leo-gx-master-clock-review/?fbclid=IwAR2..."I don’t know how much better d...
Auralic Vega G2 DAC with an Esoteric Master Clock
sudhirgoel,  we exchanged a couple of posts in your last thread.  Ahhh, the audiophile waltz.  Please help choreograph each perfect move to audio nirvana!!  I would venture a guess that not one member of this forum has and exact system replica of ...
Confused State of affairs: CD player
Congratulations!  Enjoy, I'm sure it sounds fantastic. Seems like the Leo GX will be the foundational piece (and most expensive) with upgrades to G3, G4 etc..  One thing PS Audio does that is super cool is update the FPGA with new software updates...
Confused State of affairs: CD player
Given the rest of your system why don't you buy the Esoteric Grandioso K1 and be done with it.  Are you going to be happy with the MCD600 considering you can't "unhear" the Esoteric transport? I appreciate discovering the absolute best source or f...
Confused State of affairs: CD player
Sudhirgoel,Since I spin discs rarely these days I'm not presented with the transport dilemma.  One you may want to consider is the PS Audio DMP.  Recently discontinued (utilized Oppo drives) you would have to see if any dealers have new stock or f...
PS Audio Directstream Junior Owner - Still beneficial to buy a separate server/streamer?
I went from a Bridge II in the DS senior to an Auralic Aries G2.  No comparison, the Aries sounds much better.  Others that have the DS jr, and Aries G1 report much better sound vs. the internal bridge as well.I dropped Roon (really like it as an ...
Opinions on Parasound A21 & A21+
Jetter,My brother has an A21 and I have a pair of JC1's I use in a second system.  Great amps for the money.  Definitely punch above their weight.Their ability to put out the first 10 or 25 watts pure class A makes them very resolving and natural ...
PS Audio Regenerators - P5, P10, P12, P15
I have the P20 and leave it on all the time.  The only components I partially shut down are the BHK pre and 300's front ends to save tube life.  I had twin P10's prior to the P20 and followed the same protocol. I do believe my system sounds best f...
PC or Line Conditioner
Don't know anything about the P1000 but I have 3 P10's, two for my 2.2 system and one for the home theater.    I am not far from Seattle either (Eastside) and power is poor in my area.  I don't have dedicated circuits but am able to pull power fro...
A lot of hype about PS Audio, deservedly so ?
Though I rarely post on any forums, I too am compelled to assign accolades where they are due.  My first PSA unit was a P10 power plant.  What it did for my system was not subtle.  I now own three P10's, two utilized in my 2 channel setup and the ...
