I'd go for it. I've enjoyed the sound of my B&K 442 sonata for many years and have never felt the need to upgrade it.

This is a very interesting thread but what Tomic601 says does seem to play out in real life. So if you have the money run two seperate speaker cables for your bi-wire setup. It does sound better.

My Vandersteen 2Ce. Because I just sit back and enjoy the music. I never think about the electronics.

Infinity IRS Betas. I guess what got me was the clarity and range.

Speaker Cable Advice
I’m using Studio Cable 4S cables to great effect in my system. they replaced my old MIT cables. You would probably need to email them for the custom size you need though. 
Good starter speaker
I recommend Vandersteens as well if you have the right room.
