problems picking a HT system due to ohmage
I'm pretty sure all NAD receivers are capable of handling 4 ohm loads
Which AVR to purchase
I've tried the NAD, Arcam, and now have a Cambridge. You can't go wrong with any of them. I'm very happy with the Cambridge.
B&K507 vs Rotel 1057 vs Arcam350 vs Emotiva UTS?
you'll like the arcam the best. I've had B&K receivers and NAD receivers, and an Arcam 200. The Arcam is the best sounding of the bunch.

One other line I forgot to mention is NAD. They are sweet as well - really nice smooth sound.

You can't go wrong with HK. I've tried them all and I keep one on hand because I always end up going back to it. If you don't like HK, I'd suggest Rotel at your price point; you can't go wrong with them either. For your sub, I'd suggest HSU.
Which Reciver?
Not to burst the Arcam bubble, but I auditioned an AVR300 and a NAD T773 and there was little difference to my ears. In fact, I thought the NAD had a warmer sound. Just my 2 cents.
Totem Home theatre
I have used a variety of speaker configurations from dynaudio audience line to sonus faber. I am now using totem mites all around. I do run them as small and dynamics are fantastic. My room is 20 x 15.
Receiver for pre/pro?
I have a nad t752 and team it with an anthem mca5. Yes, you will get better dynamics and bass response as kgturner states.
Dynaudio Audience vs. Contour
Thx momofdom2. I too like the audience sound.
Which pre/pros have high output?

Dynaudio Audience setup?
Thanks for the response.
Problems with NAD Receivers????
I have a NAD T752. It has software version 2 or greater and I haven't had any of the experiences listed above. These NAD receivers have very warm sounds and terrific punch where you need it. I guess I'm one lucky happy camper.
