| SS amps that sound like tubes? If transistors could or would "sound like" tubes, why would anyone want to build or buy tubed amlifiers? My opinion (from experiance) that there is not such a thing as tube sounding solid state amp. | |
| Sibilance how do I get rid of it? In my case source components were always the biggest offenders. Swap your CDP with another one see if that helps. I am not familiar with your CDP, but rest of the system looks fine, so you may have to spend some $$ for the CDP to be up to the rest? | |
