Has anyone added a small subwoofer to 2 channel and been thrilled with the result? This is an interesting thread as I am considering adding one or two to my system because I have a massive dip just below at 180hz which can't be alleviated with speaker placement. My concern is to do with whether or not thee timing will be off

It's due to growing up in the 80's and 90's when people answered when as...

Ugraditus is calling....again. Phono stage? Have you considered the Lyngdorf analogue input?
Ugraditus is calling....again. Phono stage? I see the OP has a Lyngdorf TDA 2170 - as I understand it that is a true digital amplifier. Are you running it with room correction?I assume it has the familiar house sound of the TACT - combined with Nordost cables, and the Dynavector phono stage...

SAT 30K+$$ TONEARM: W O R T H T O H A V E I T ? Raul - all good and well talking theory - but have you heard an SAT?If it's a cost/value vs performance question - I agree I think it is a waste of money. We know a 'law of demising returns' kicks in, but clearly the SAT somehow does have those fu... |
