Halcro.Does the chip have a manufacturers name on it? I also noticed there were some chips with "B" as a suffix. Are they different?

The vacuum platter and pump was an option with the 801. With the Micro the pump is necessary because of the air bearing but you obviously don't have to use the vacuum.

It appears the 801 is actually slightly more complex than the 101. I believe I would just as much prefer the 101 because it is more easily serviceable I suppose. As far as the rubber goes, my Micro Seiki has a rubber platter ring and it is as good...
