Boxer, that's a fine point. Is there anyone qualified specifically to Soundcraftsman anymore? That would be great info & some assurance that it would be a worthwhile purchase

I use the Cable Company for this very reason, to ensure that I make informed decisions when it comes to the sound I'm looking for. To ratchet it up a notch, they also like to know what equipment you have in order to recommend proper interconnects,...

@ ami: I went and sat down & listened to a system that was a little below 20k for about 15 minutes & I was amazed. For 15 minutes I was in a whole different sphere of sound, as if the universe had been altered irreparably, forever changing...

I appreciate all the comments fellows, I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future. n80, that will be in my cd player soon to give my system the test (with a new cable) for good measure. The quest continues!!
