The tubes which are best for the 3A and 3B preamp are the 6h23neb tubes. You can get them directly from AI or The Tube Store. They run 40-50.00 each but are worth it. This is the ONLY tube AI recommends as they run their tubes hard. If you try a different 6922, be prepared for them only to last a couple of months.
