Audio-Technica AT-LP120 or Denon DP31L?

Hi all, you may have seen some of my other threads trying to figure out what my next turntable will be.

i just picked up an Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB off Craigslist, never opened, for $150. I figured since it retails for $299 I can just sell it on eBay for $250-275, but I'm curious if it's worth keeping over my current Denon DP31L? The Denon sounds great, but obviously it has some age to it.

Should I consider keeping this to replace the Denon? The USB feature isn't relevant for me, I just want good sound. I don't want open it up, because then technically it's used.

thanks!

IMO sell it and keep your Denon especially if it is functioning fine.

These SL-1200 knock offs are plagued with problems - from inability to hold constant speed, loose tonearm bearings and I actually seen one where the paint was flaking off the strobe dots. But the worst part is the entry level built-in preamp. If you bypass it to use your own, it will introduce noise into your system. I have heard many accounts of folks stuck with this TT asking for advice on how to remove it.

You bought it cheap so you should be able to get your money back.
