Sad to say Live At Blues Alley CD is one of the worst recordings I have ever heard of a great performance. They mananged to make the songbird cold and metallic (and no, its not my gear, checked it out on highest end audio shops in Boston too). Agree w everything else posted, and the Allison Krause CD is a great one for auditioning bass extension.
