I have silver cables in my system. Not made by crystal clear but silver none the less.
They do have a brighter touch to them than copper.
If you feel your system is bright enough already I would suggest trying a loaner pair first to hear the difference for yourself.
With my cables it wasn't just that it was a bit brighter but the HF extension was better, detail was better... Even in the bass range.
