Now, this is not a advertisement, just a posting sharing my experience on some well made great sounding cables at a very reasonable price. Besides, I don't think Cerious Technologies is set up for a big influx of cable orders.
But, if you get the chance to try these cables, please do.
I have been interested in the newer cables coming out that are using Graphene as a conductor. SR cables seemed interesting, but I always hated the way there cables had all those extra wires (with the active shields and such). I then noticed an ad early in I think November or December from Cerious Technologies for Graphene cables. I investigated how the cables were assembled and it seemed like quite a laborious process.
I ordered (with a 30 day money back guarantee) the balanced Graphene interconnects, and boy did they impress me. Such depth, soundstage, realism, frequency smoothness, effortless sound. I was truly impressed! I now have a complete loom of the Cerious Technologies Graphene cables. That is; interconnects, speaker cables, digital cables and power cords.
I ended up selling all of my other cables and to those of you who have read my postings know that cables have always been my curiosity.
So, as I began this post, let me again iterate, I have no alliance to the company, my posting is for those of you looking for an great alternate high quality Graphene made cable without spending a fortune.
I run cables though my floor and to my speakers on the other end of the room. Shorter is better, but happy wife relies on this long distant placement. So, If anyone ever returns a 20 foot pair of cables which are hard to look at due to cosmetic issues, and which you deem unsaleable, please give me a holler. I generally don't invite my guests to crawl under my house. Its my own little sanctuary. So, I don't care how they look. I care how they sound.
Ozzy I heard the CT speaker cable at Markr I am impress , I email Bob to inquire regarding the 5ft I need..and one meter ic? Honestly Bob ic in my system they sound great...,I might post here or at my Reveal thread with more detail, Markr is extending the days I will have his cable...thanks Bon
Aniwolfe the Reveal does well in my system from preamp to amp, Ozzy the Reveal gives you the live fresh presentation of music, good texture n tone, the Teo GC and Ct graphene both give you more organic sound and inner detail...they have more extension, the Teo is from source to preamp, I feel like to get the best out Teo n Ct graphene in my system Reveal should be in the chain, to obtain that exciting live fresh music n effortless listening.....this three cables in my system they synergize more than any cables I heard in my systems, Iam happy with my sterling aq speaker cable connected with them....Ozzy I am also using them with my Andra 1, monoblock supercharger 550 musical fidelity...,
Keep in mind..if the Reveal are used in the system before the other cables. The other cables get the effect of the magnets. So its best to install the HFC products last and they need a few days to allow the effect of the magnets to work. The HFC are not the best to A/B.
In my system the GE IC's sounded very different than the Reveals.
Can you describe each and how they are different to the Reveals?
I am using balanced cables throughout and the Teo GC cables are only RCA so I'm not sure the change to that cable would be an improvement over a proper balanced connection.
My initial impression between Teo GC and Graphene ic they have similar characteristics in my systems, at this time after listening to both, I am super impress, they are very different to my Reveal HF ic...this three cables match well in my systems....
I got confused trying to connect the speaker cables to my speakers and amp. Do I match the +/- on the cables against the +/- on the speakers and amp or do I follow the colours, which would make it impossible to match the +/-.
Remember this topic being discussed before but hope someone can help me on this.
@rgrost I suggest building one of each cable for demo. They can place an order if like it. This way you're not stuck with new cables damaged from demos.
So I took aniwolfe's recommendation and used the GE SC to jump rope. I went to the local elementary school and jumped rope first with a normal jump rope. The blacktop had a glare from the sun that was disturbing and the noise from the kids playing was distracting enough to make it hard to concentrate. But when I switched to the Cerious Technologies Graphene Extreme to jump rope...OMG! The glare was just...gone (!) revealing even blacker blacks and the noise from the kids was at least 20 db lower making it easier to to hear their individual voices that expanded before me in a huge soundstage. Unbelievable! We are all good and while we have hiccups from time to time I love my customers - all of them - and count my blessings everyday. I am so lucky to make a living doing what I love and would be doing anyway. Thanks to everybody... (the jumping rope thing was meant to be a joke and I was poking fun at myself as mush as anyone). My answer: I played (broke in) the cables for 100+ hours. During the break-in period. I did not interrupt them or touch them during this process. No physical contact. Though I did get the urge to touch them, my wife was in the room and I felt its was inappropriate.
P.S For the record so this isnt furthered misunderstood Bob rated my returned SC’s a 7/10 Bob rated jgoomba5 ’s cable return a 6/10

I don’t need to reread his post :P You might need to reread my post actually lol I know how to break in cables by the way. I never touched the SC’s. aniwolfe...#1..reread his post.... he rated them at '6/10'...not 7/10...I am sure he did not sell you a 7/10 cable so to go from 10/10 or 9/10 to 6/10 is a significant drop and indicates a significant lack of care on your part.Putting '100+ hours on them' is a passive process...requiring no handling of the cables. Your lack of care/respect for the cables, with Bob's 6/10 rating says it all.

aniwolfe...how do you destroy cables that you potentially might be returning for a refund in such a short period of time..???I have had cables for years that were basically like new looking when i sold them. Obviously you don't have much respect for things that you own.I agree with jayctoy..you owe Bob !!!!.I would not sell you anything else...
aniwolfe you are a stand up guy. I will get you some day into the Cerious camp, but in the mean time feel free to unwrap the labels - just don't drag them behind your car. At least that is what it looked like JG did. My son appreciates what JG did, he got the cables free (I couldn't sell them...).
I might not care for your cables Bob, but your one entertaining ole cracker! TIP of the Day: When auditioning Bobs cables: DO NOT TAKE THE PLASTIC WRAP OFF THE SHRINK WRAP. Apparently when you breath on them, the printed logo comes off. He complained to me about that when I returned mine. But in the end Bob did refund me, so thank you and I am sorry for ruining your cables Bob. :P
JG those cables you return were not in good shape, but you were refunded all of it per Bob.This is probably the reason why your new order is not accepted..if I were you, I will compensate Him for the damage first then order again, if you like his product, At this time Iam on Bob side...I heard his speaker cable at Markr system, on his system , for the price he is asking they are bargain , heck of a good cable, huge soundstage..,Bob I promise when I audition your cable I take care of them, if ever they are coming back to you ...
My response to JG: This is someone who got a set of 10 foot GE speaker cables and asked repeatedly if he could extend the trial period which I said "yes" to twice. He admitted that he really needed a 14 foot set and returned them. If you have a trial period in exchange for me offering returns you bear a responsibility to return them in as close to new condition as possible. If I were selling the set he returned on Audiogon they would have to be rated a 6/10 as they were utterly trashed. My wife insisted I only refund 1/2 of his payment to reimburse us for the damage done but that is not me and I refunded all of it. He "ordered" his 14 foot set along with the "understanding" that he would need more time with this set - likely 60 days or so - so he could get a clear idea if these were going to work for him and of course if after 60 days he decided to return them (likely in a similar condition he returned the first set...) I would just have to eat a custom length 14 foot set that is trashed like the first set. Kind of brings to mind the expression "Fool me once...". Being a Seinfeld fan I responded "No soup for you!" There now "JG" do you feel better that the whole world now knows how put upon you have been and poorly treated by that ruthless capitalist Bob Grost? Sleep well my friend knowing that everyone here will have had a similar experience dealing with me and will take your side. I lay here exposed - yes I am an unreasonable jerk! I have been trying to contact Bob for two weeks by email and phone after the initial phone contact. I am baffled and wished to place an order with him, but no response. I want to know how long the production time would take to make the cable and the method of payment he prefers. Clearing up these matters would be helpful.
Just wanted to post my recent experience with GE SCs which I ordered to replace my DIY 12AWG cables. Once I received them I realized they were too short for my new setup but decided to give them a try as I only had about 2 weeks before an extended business trip. My impressions, in my system and over about 40 hours of listening, was that the GEs added some nice body and low end weight at the expense of some mid/high detail. Not that mids/highs were rolled off, but there was a loss of air and detail around instruments and vocals compared to the FIYs.
I told Bob about my listening experience and asked if I could return the cables given my pending travels and need for longer cables. Bob indicated they probably needed 100 hours for proper burn in but that he would accept the return. I returned the cables and informed Bob that I would order longer cables when I returned from my travels when I would have time for a proper burn in. Unfortunately, Bob has refused to accept my recent order for longer GEs without explanation. I understand that Bob's business is doing well but I sincerely hope that others experience better customer service from Cerious Technologies.
I tried the Mad Scientist Graphene liquid As Ozzy said, it was initially dark... Gave it couple of days, and things sounded better over time to me.. I like it, but very messy to handle..

Ozzy, I don’t blame you but that’s what everybody says about almost all contact enhancers whilst they’re breaking in. You probably should have given it a lot more time before cashing your chips in is all I’m suggesting. That way the new Graphene product would get a fairer shake. I also don’t put cleaners and sprays in the same category with all those silver, silver/gold, Graphene based enhancers. Just my opinion. Finally I don't really think you can draw any conclusions about the XTreme AV contact enhancer on the basis that it dries up over time. The silver is the part that's the enhancer not the medium. It's supposed to dry up.
I hate to judge before all the facts are in but the Graphene contact enhancer was probably not given nearly long enough to break-in. The Quicksilver Gold contact enhancer, which was the best of class, took at least 100 hours of playing music, even better using a break-in track, to break-in. I personally am so over having to wait around for things to break in, just to get some new thing that needs breaking in, ad infinitum. The fuses, the contacts, the tubes, the cables. Hey, La-Dee!. Lol
Well the Mad Scientist Graphene liquid was a no go in my system. In my system it added a darkness to the sound. It actually seemed to insulate more than conduct if that makes sense. Perhaps if you had a bright sounding system this stuff would tame it.
Could someone post a pic of the GE speaker cables please? Would like to see how thick it is and whether I would be better off ordering a set terminated with Spades instead.
Today, I applied the oil to my speaker cable connections, and the output interconnects connections to the amps. This sure is a messy substance. Make sure you cover the floor and wear gloves if you use this stuff. I may have applied too little, but better to start thin.
I’ll give it a few days, to evaluate before I add anymore.
