My short, general synopsis:
Carbon 7's - Between the two, this will be your speaker of choice if you want something that sounds full (for a monitor), warm, and easy to listen to.
Tyler Linbrook Sigs - This will be your speaker of choice if you value speed, detail, and a very 'open' type of sound. These speakers will not be as polite as the Carbon 7's, but they will in turn reveal more of what a recording has to offer.
All in all, both are fine products. I also found both speakers to be relatively easy to work with, being A) not terribly picky about room placement, and B) able to match up with a wide variety of components.
Lastly, both Ty and Fritz are excellent people. You can't really go wrong doing business with either. :)
