High End jargon; your take

I've been around here for a good while now and read these terms frequently. Looked at some of the audio glossaries on the net. I still don't feel I have a good handle on their meaning. What do these terms mean to you?

"Tight" as in "the bass became more tight."

"Hi Fi" as in "it sounds "hi fi" (as opposed to high end)

"Warm" as in "warm bass."

Thanks

Tight = several drinks into the evening

Hi-Fi = borrowing or lending large sums of money as in High
Finance or lying to your girl friend or spouse as in High Fiction

Warm = any bodily fluid released in your pants

Hope this helps
We can only hope Mrtennis chimes in. That will be a of of fun!

Tight - Controlled. You can clearly hear the vibrating strings of a double
bass.

Hi-Fi - exaggeration of the highs and mids. Unbalanced. Initially gets
your attention and seems exciting, but quickly grows fatiguing. Think any
"Journey" album from the 70s.

Warm - attenuated, rolled-off highs and emphasized mids. Think warm apple
pie, a t-shirt fresh from the dryer, and Jennifer Connelly's bosom in a
cashmere sweater.
I bow to Tvads take 100%.Love the cashmere connection....you can almost feel it.......stop that....cheers,Bob
Tight= fit bod.

Hi-fi= Shania Twain, Brooke Shields.

Warm= one would be ever so hot under the collar if one were very close to one of the above.
