How to connect Stax adapter srd-7 to amplifier

Hello - I have just unearthed my Stax Lamda-Pro phones and the Stax adapter srd-7 - but I no longer have a clue which of the wires colored white, black,red, and green attaches to which amplifier output post. - can you shed any
light on this for me? Simple system - old NAD 7130 receiver, the usual turntable (AR), cd player(NAD) etc. Thanks. Robert Carr

Usually these are labelled on the back of the adapter. To the best of my recollection, green and white form one channel pair, and red and black the other pair. Red is probably hot (+).

I can only think of one case. The old EAR 519 amps came with a nice manual. While not as impressive as the ones you mention, it contained useful info, specs and, believe it, a SCHEMATIC!

The rest have been flimsy; some informative -- but hardly going at great lengths to explain the product and its best operating set-up.

The mouse of cost-cutting must have eaten away those manuals!
