I might be new to the jazz scene but what about Gene Krupa,Buddy Rich. "Krupa and Rich" showcases each of them.

Cheers
Not a great recording but a great drum solo. Try from the Yessongs album Live; Perpetual Change.
Ghost rider, Peart's solo on the Rush in Rio disc reminded me why he was my God during my formative drumming years. Precise and musical every moment he's at work.

Oh yeah, and Bonham's "Moby Dick" solo ain't bad either. Bonham later supplanted Peart as my idol as I began to appreciate the deceptive simplicity of his drumming.
Best I know of for performance and recording is Bernard Purdie playing on Bucky Pizziarelli's "Nirvana" cd - the track: Sing Sing Sing Definitely one-ups Gene Krupas original (IMHO).

BTW - This is overall a great cd.
Try the Ecstasy in Numbers CD on Diversity Records at Elusive Disc. There is a 5 minute drum solo with a huge drumset with double kicks and was recorded DSD format.
