The 726V's require a beefy amp to enjoy, because of the impedance rating, 150-200 watt minimum imho. The break in period is a must, 200 hrs before you begin to appreciate them. They're nothing to brag about but not to snifle at either. Nice, economical speaker for a small area.
Is Focal 726V an upgrade over Monitor Audio RS6 ?
I have a pair of Monitor Audio RS6 that I like. I find that they do everything fairly well for an entry level speaker. I have an opportunity to get a pair of Focal 726V at a very good price...but can't audition on my system to compare to what I have.
Would these speakers be an upgrade. I play mostly rock and blues.
