OTOH, I'm not sure I'd make it through an hour of partying with George Clinton - and that's a problem, because a P-Funk party never stops.

I quite agree - he was the only disappointment (to me) on the entire DVD - thank goodness he only stayed for a couple of tracks. Jamal Thomas on drums was awesome but I think I prefer Dennis Chambers on "Pass the Peas"...good call on your part on that one!

I just ordered David Garfield's 2003 album "Giving Back" after listening to this fantastic groove a whole bunch of times.

This ain't live but I picked it up on CD recently...seems to be have taken off of the vinyl but this is dynamite infectious stuff!
