In the Shunyata line, I have not noticed any significant improvement over lower priced cords until one gets to the Python. I owned a Taipan Alpha, and it didn't do anything more for my system than an ErnieM DIY cord (fine cords, BTW). Of course, everyone's experience and/or application is different, so the Copperhead line might work well for you.
I'd suggest taking advantage of the SignalCable return policy. Buy some Magic HC and/or Digital HC cords and try them risk free at home.
Otherwise, be sure to buy Copperheads at good used prices so you can re-sell later if you choose.
