There's always the Shure M97XE at about $80. And yes, depending on other system factors, your table may indeed work best with a better cart. My cart cost about double my TT. Sometimes it works out that way. However, there are many less expensive carts to try which perform pretty good.
Sansui 2050
Just purchased a Sansui 2050 table for a retro 2 channel I am pulling togehter for analog. Looks great and is very clean. Has Audio Technica cartridge. Seller suggested Shure V15. Is this table worth a $200 V15? I paid $100 for table. Are there other options? Honest thoughts on purchase?
