Solid State vs. Tubes - What if Transistors came first?

Better free trade than some fool deciding for you, (including for YOU Dave) Just think if Geoff somehow became the sole arbiter of what you (Dave) are allowed to buy in the area of sound reproduction.   LOL.                                                          
With restrictions it could easily happen. I suggest all audiophiles are pretty much wide awake and buy what meets their needs. NO Nanny State needed to 'protect' any of us.
