SPEAKERS, SPEAKERS AND MORE SPEAKERS.. BUT NEED BASS.?

Greetings audiophile fans,
I am in a challenging dilemma with SPEAKER selection and need a advice.. Budget 4K and less!!
Currently my setup consists ps audio pair mono amps, Jew Rowland pre and Oracle Delphi turntable..
I am mostly listening records (Jazz, folk....) I honestly prefer not to use sub due to space but prefer ful size tower SPEAKERS with enough bass to satisfy my need.. “IT’S ALL ABOUT THAT BASS”
Soooo what have you heard and recommend for me??
Thanks and happy listening....
Cheers

i agree with @stevecham on the SVS sub. I added one to my system and wanted to cry because the bass sounded so damn good. Mind you it is not thumping bass but the real mccoy bass. You wont be disappointed. Also, i have a pair of Paradigm 95F's. Paradigm revamped their lineup so the 95F's are just below their starting top tier @5,000 a pair. You can find them under that price though.
@mr_m
That is not true. You will only relieve the main amp if you are using a separate amp and preamp using the high pass filter on the sub.
Many people that use a sub run the speakers full range without the high pass option!
Yogiboy,
You are correct that a sub needs to be separately amplified, ( powered sub) and use of a filter preferably 80hz. While I will agree that many people will run a sub passive or active, with no high pass filter, this is not the optimal way or correct way, for that matter, to run a subwoofer. This was something I inadvertently omitted thinking it would be common procedure. The old adage, "never assume."
Cheers,

SVS...just went through this with a 1000 budget. I settled on the PB-2000 for my system(10 X 12 room). I looked at used for weeks and realized SVS subs and their 5 year warranty were the way to go.
@mr-m It appears that mental neglected to mention that he just purchased a sub for his system. Maybe he didn’t chose his gear carefully as he recommends to others.

". . . A decent two channel system does not require a sub. Choose your gear carefully and then appreciate it."

Not sure how big you are looking for

If you are a bass freak and want to feel like it's live, maybe you need some horns?
