System shutting down due to clipping?

From time to time my HT system shuts off when playing at higher volumes. The Yamaha AV unit is running out of juice and I assume it is tripping off as a self preservation function. I am guessing that the rear surround speakers are the culprits since they are 4 ohm. I am not sure whatload the center channel is.
SO how do I fix this? I do not want to change the AV unit and am not real keen about changing the speakers either. Don't even think of suggesting that I turn the volume down.

The receiver is shutting down due to heat.
IF you do not want to change anything..Get a small muffin fan ... two would be better, and blow air up from under the receiver. It will help cool it down enough. And since you are playing pretty loud, you will not hear the fan anyway.
You can get A/C ones, or if you got a small power supply with a 12 volt out you could use some computer ones with speed controls.. (for use when playing at lower volumes (if ever) Or a A/C motor fan spped control at moat hardware stores. (I added one for my kitchen fan.. worked great.)
