The best CD Player for the money

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF BUYING A CD PLAYER AND I DONT KNOW WHICH WAY TO GO.WITH SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM I WANT TO PURCHASE SOMETHING GOOD BUT I DONT WANT TO SPEND 10,000 EITHER.

The Linn players, even the cheaper ones, have tremendous bounce, pace and rhythm. Friends tell me the EMC-1-etc. is very fine. I recently bought the MUSE Model 10 after much searching. It is simply stunning and the best I have ever heard. JT
