Tube Monoblocks for heavy music on Khorns

What tube monoblocks would drive Khorns the best for big bass/heavy metal music? I obviously can't go the SET route for the BEST sound. I was thinking about some BIG monoblocks to help the Khorns 15" driver REALLY move. My room is small. I could even experiment with adding a large sub like a Velodyne HGS18 in the future, too. However, price is an issue. Another interesting Idea, what horn speakers can really compete with Khorn for around the same money for reproduction of bass, Etc??

1- Khorns
2- tube amp
3- heavy metal
4- small room

IMHO, pick any three. I suggest that you eliminate either 1 or 4.
I'm with Br3098. I had my KHorns in my 12' x 13' room and they are just too big. I found that they need room or that squaker makes your eyeballs bleed when you crank it up.
Out in the big room they are a much better fit and can play loud and sound good.
What about the hybrid (Tube, Tube, SS) running active with crossovers, slopes, delays and equalization done in one digital to analog conversion. This is done with my Apple Minimac and Apple Firewire compatible TC Electronic DAC Preamp?
The complexity will kill the impact. With K-horns you want things as simple as possible.
Atmasphere: What if all the same amps (hence all the same characterists) are used in an active system? For example, a s-30 on the bass, a s-30 on the mids and a s-30 on the treble. If all these are crossed over at low-level therefore not requiring highlevel crossovers it should INCREASE impact, right? EG same amps with same characteristics and reactance for all drivers; No high-level crossovers that mess with phase and cause loss of dB due to insertion loss;all amps have smaller bandwidths to amplifiy. Now...this versus a circuit with high level crossovers in addition to only having one amp amplifying the entire frequency band?? I would think the active system would have more impact, but maybe I'm missing something. Not to mention the multiple amps woud be time delayed to all reach the listening position simultaneously, in case speakers are not time-alligned. Thx!!
