As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares. We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media. I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations. I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.
@reubent, music as good as David Balls’ "Thinkin’ Problem" is what I hope to hear every time I listen to a new supposedly-Country artist. Guys like him don’t show up very often.
@gosta, Rodney Crowell has made a number of great albums in addition to Diamonds & Dirt. I’m partial to his autobiographical The Houston Kid album, and his new Christmas Everywhere album is on its way to me directly from his current label New West Records (home to other superior artists including John Hiatt, Richard Thompson, Steve Earle, and the great Buddy Miller).
Unfortunately I just cannot get into country at all, bit of a one chord wonder trick here! It has to rock, very narrow tastes but I still get great ideas from all these music threads! Tango In The Night... Fleetwood Mac Tidal MQA On my phone via earbuds on the flight home. Power of modern tech!
Was listening to Rita Coolidge’s 2018 album and then found the beautiful "Out of the blues" from 2010 (maybe). Remember her old redordings with Kristofferson. And background singer for Cocker. History. Tidal naturally.
The magic 1000 posts! Nicely done all, long may it continue Stuck in a hotel room in Tennessee all week again so Tidal for this week only! Songs for Judy .... Neil Young Tidal
Here's a list of tracks I listened to today. Was really great session.
Pinback - Anti-Hu Steely Dan - Ricki Don't Loose that Number Carey Bell - It's So Easy to Love You (whole album has amazing SQ) Capital Cities - Swimming Pool Summer Bebe Rexha - Atmosphere (killer SQ and bass) Devendra Banhart - Middle Names Gary Clark Jr. - Please Come Home (Live) (this is just sublime) Aeriel Popock - Someone Like You Aeriel Popock - Living in Twilight
I have a Playlist on my N10 called Soup De Jour. When I start a session, I just empty the queue and then start afresh picking tracks from my favorites in whatever order suits my fancy.
