Terry Evans "Puttin' It Down", Audioquest lp. Anything involving Joe Harley has always been impressive!
Chris Isaak  "Wicked Game"  the UK/lp...BEST!
John MayerTrio "Try!"  ( although he's a (Man-Whore), he's got the groove!

loomisjohnson,

Have you compared it to "Let It Be" (Naked)?

I'd go for "Abbey Road" or "Rubber Soul" or even "Revolver" (if was recorded better). "A Hard Day's Night" is underrated, IMO.

Happy Listening!
ELO  "Eldorado"

Johnny Cash "Unchained" from the American Recordings box...cannot get enough of it! Everyone should own this box set.
up next will be..

Buffalo Springfield  "What's That Sound?"   (Box)  "S/T"/mono

………………….

Nice to have some company @oldschool1948.
J Geils Band "Blow Your Face Out" ....just put it through a looong, sloooow deeep US clean. Won’t win any awards for sonics but is nice and quiet. The memories?....Ahhhh!

I think the last time I heard it was on an 8 track in my customized van in my teen years.
Amanda Shires "My Piece Of Land" Sonically, this lp is the best sounding and most enjoyable of the three I own.
Mark Kozelek  "Live at Biko"

…………………………………..

@boxer12,

I own "Spoke".  BTW, did you hear Low has a new lp coming out?
Roger Waters "The Pros & Cons of Hitch Hiking"

I haven't played this lp in thirty years, I don't know why. It really is very good. I had also forgotten that Eric Clapton plays on it as well as toured with Roger to support the record.
Patty Griffin "American Kid" Wonderful!
Alison Krauss  "So Long So Wrong"  MFSL
"Roomsound"  is one hell of a record! ..get it

Lenny Kravitz  "Let Love Rule"
cough..hhh..cough.hugh..

trying to catch my breath. They just don’t make music like that/this anymore!

putting on side two. An event!  Ummm..clearing throat...Ok, I'm ready?
Aldo Nova "Subject"

comon’ people...when have you read about AN here? Other than by me.

Fasten your suspenders and hang on to your britches!...………...

(This lp will help me get over the noticeable silence between lp changes).
The Notting Hillbillies  "missing... presumed having a good time"

Mom's Apple Pie "S/T"

(lps)
Had to clean and listen to "Moonflower" since it was talked about in another thread.

up next...

Santana "Supernatural"
Buddy & Julie Miller  "Written in Chalk"..this will make @bdp24 happy...
Just broke the shrink wrap on my brand new Joan Osborne "Songs of Bob Dylan". Here's hoping it will be up to her past standards!

Regarding "Written in Chalk"...was very turned on by Julie’s introduction of "Wild Thing"!.......
Had to flatten the Joan lp.....

up now,

The Watson Twins "Talking to You, Talking to Me".

I remember upon first hearing this lp (from 2010), I was unimpressed. No longer. You may remember them from their collaborations with Jenny Lewis. If you love female vocals, good song writing, great sonics...it's well worth checking out!

@gakerty,

Hope it meets your expectations. Let us know.

Natalie Merchant  "The New Tigerlily Recordings"
The Russian Wilds "Howlin' Rain".

Don't let the description fool you!

Happy Listening!
