Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

I am just as shocked especially with it also being a live album which for rock usually means it sucks big time anyway!
Some of the nuances I can here in his voice I have not noticed previously and the drums are miked really well.
I am pleased as I paid $10 for that one!
Captured ...Journey.

Vinyl

Boxer, now this is your typical live rock album, pretty grotty sq all round. No soundstage, very flat,no dynamics.

Thats why I have systems set up in three different rooms ... lol
She can’t haunt all of them at the same time.
But I did build her a pretty impressive ht rig so she is quite happy in the theater room.
Of course I made sure my main rig can play louder if need be......

Some great British tunes there. From the UK myself and spinning Live in Berlin by Depeche Mode on bluray 5.1 Audio right now.
Thx @bdp24

Will give it a whirl!

Hypnotic Eye ... Tom Petty .. Again, lol.
BluRay Audio.
Bought a new to me Modwright OPPO bdp80.
Then after getting excited , realised I only intend to use as a transport and all the Modwright mods are in the analog output stage... Doh! 😔😔

Oh well it was cheap.....
Stereo5.

That is a beast of an amp, reminds me of my old BAT VK600SE.
Miss it some days but not the heat or backache ... lol.

There will always be a market for big brutal amps no matter how far class D advances.

Enjoy!

My 45 minutes of fame.

We opened for Bjork one rainy night in England......

Taking it to The Streets ..... The Doobie Brothers

Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush live.

Vinyl.

Remember seeing these guys live at a festival in England along with Triumph.

Power play indeed!
Down on the Upside ... Soundgarden.

Cassette.

Unfortunately this must rank as one of the most poorly recorded tapes in my collection.
1 Hopeful Road .... Vintage Trouble.

Cassette recorded direct from Tidal stream on Nakamichi 582.
Boxer.

it is pretty darn sweet tbh. Lots of dynamics and no feel of compression or loss of range. Vocals were still standout.

i used a vintage tdk sa tape from the eighties and recorded it n my nakamichi 582 3 head deck.

i plan on doing a lot more......
Boxer.

Of course now I am wondering how good it might sound taped on a good r2r deck.

Which i do not own...
And there are too many for sale on eBay ....

💸💸💸💳💳💳
Human Wheels .... John Mellencamp.

Cassette.

And yes I scored a bunch more new to me tapes at a newly opened local thrift store at a whopping 50 cents a go.
How can I refuse.......
Down Two Then Left ... Boz Scaggs.

Real nice well balanced recording on vinyl.

The node should only index when you ask it too. And you only need do that if you say disconnected the power or lost the internet connection or added a shed load of new music to the library.

I always left my vault powered up and cat7 cable plugged in at all times.

Oh and sometimes after an update you needed to reindex.
Very odd.
My vault would take like 6 minutes max to do a complete Reindex so I honestly never bothered to worry about it.
The only event I know that took hours was the very first time I did a complete backup to an external hdd.

Good to hear, hoping it was just its first time go a round.

Enjoy the music!
