preamp into integrated amp yes/no?

I have an Ayon Triton III. I also have a Conrad-Johnson PV7. Any benefit to hooking them together?

I am unusual in that I have two other preamps connected to my main preamp.
I use the VAC Standard preamp I own as aa fancy tube buffer for my digital stuff.
So the VAC Standard is connected to my Bryston BP-26 preamp.
Then I also have an Audio Research Sp-15 preamp laying around.. And i use it for the three tube phono section. that Audio Research is connected to my Bryston Bp-26 also.
No problem using equipment in this way if it sounds good to YOU.

Reading comments by folks who have never tried it.. Well they do not know if it will sound good or not.
Only the op can try it and see if it sounds better , to him.
As for problems, no. No problem electrically doing it.

One point I would mention is try to find the best spot on one volume control (if using two) to leave that control at. Some preamp volumes sould best at mid level, other at 100% (My Brystom is best at the 1 O'Clock position, and the VAC at the lowest positions.. The ARC sounds best at 100%. (adjusting using the gain switch)
Find the best spot on one, and use just the other to adjust the volume while listening

What comments by people here who have never tried it? Unless you are talking about a thread other than this one? If you remember, not too long ago, I asked you if you have ever tried just using your VAC without the Bryston in the way. My though was, and still is, that what you are hearing is the result of using a good preamp (VAC), and not just using it as a tube buffer. You said that you never tried it both ways. If that's the case, its kind of hard to make a comparison. Yes, of course it will work. But will it sound better? You won't know until you try it both ways.
