Used turntable market
I've bought and sold multiple used tables and as long as you are competent with setting them up, and tweaking operation, there's no issue - except for risk of shipping damage. I've had 2 of them arrive damaged (the dust covers broken) in spite of ...
RB-250 tonearm installation Systemdek iix
my one experience with a RB250 was it played fine without a ground wire, but if you have a ground wire attached to the sub-chassis of the table you can try to connect it to your preamp ground. If you hear hum, I would disconnect it and see how it ...

4 OHM speakers with an 8 OHM amplifier?
the MF200 is a solid state amp that should be fine driving 4 ohms, maybe even 2 ohms.
Counterpoint SA-20 Amplifier
I would list it for sale here, or on ebay as an auction with clear description of the issues and a "needs repair - as-is" buy. Someone will buy it happily, possibly at a surprising price.
VPI Hw-19 Jr. Thoughts?
I had a VPI HW19 jr and while it was a nice table, it was somewhat of an entry table. It bought one to upgrade from a Music Hall MMF-5 and wasn't overwhelmed. It's a sturdy table, but I think most folks want them because they can be upgraded to th...
Modifying the TAD-60
I agree, an separate chassis would be preferable to me.
Rating system insanity
glad it turned out thanks to PS Audio. Situations like this are what negative feedback was created for . . .
