need suggestion for which speaker matchs NAD M2
After my posts I saw the thread where you mentioned that your current speakers are Dynaudio. I did not realize this when I posted my suggestion about the Dynaudio 340. However, from what I could hear of the 340's in the Youtube video, you should s...
Correct way to burn in a new CD/SACD player
Manufacturers do put the important stuff in the manual. 11-29-12: Rok2idRok2kid, your statement does not apply to several of the audio manuals I've seen. Some manufacturers are, in my opinion, negligent in this regard and their manuals are much to...
Made in America
I see that you're kind of new here. If you had been around longer or frequented any of the other audiophile forums, you'd know there are a core group of audiophiles that are passionate about "made in America" audio gear. They get very upset about ...
Correct way to burn in a new CD/SACD player
Simply install the interconnects between the SA 11 and your preamp or integrated amp, turn on the SA 11, and play a CD set on "repeat." The amount of time you leave the CD playing on "repeat" is up for conjecture, some believe at least 100-200 hou...
When speakers almost sound like the instruments
Viridian, anyone would agree that some speakers are more difficult and tricky to drive well than others The OMD 28's fall into that category. As I said, a "struggle."
need suggestion for which speaker matchs NAD M2
In addition to PSB speakers, NAD also has a history of demoing with Dynaudio speakers which they did with the M3 years ago. Don't know your budget, but listening to this Youtube video has me completely salivating!!!! Talk about a clean sound funky...
need suggestion for which speaker matchs NAD M2
No experience with the M2, (used to own the M3),but Loomisjohnson made a good point. Also you may want to research and call a few NAD dealers and get their take on speaker matches. And, do an internet search; see if you can find if the NAD M2 was ...
what would you do?
After 1.5 years, not much you can do. Bringing it to their attention will fall on deaf ears. How do you know it's the wrong serial number?
Is it too much to ask....
Wow! ditto, Mitch4t, amazing. No, it's not too much to ask Rlwainwright. Listing the power rating should be no big deal. (not the big deal that some of the posters are making) Sure the buyer needs to do their due diligence and learn what they don'...
Adding Tone Controls?
Just so you know, the Behringer is not at all intuitive to use. There is quite a learning curve, contrary to what some make describe. For many I think that would be a deal-breaker.
Are there any audiophile quality streaming options
Good information. Good points above about streaming from the internet. It does open up the ability to hear so much more music.
Amarra a worthy investment?
I experienced the same thing with Puremusic that you are with Amarra. Did the trial and wasn't impressed with the SQ difference it made.
Adding Tone Controls?
Rlwainwright has suggested your best approach.
Any Love for Audiolab?
I would have bought the MDAC if they're hadn't been such a backlog to buy it. Still curious. There was a buzz about the MDAC at other audio forums, not much here. I bought the W4S DAC2 instead, which is a fine piece, but it would be nice to hear t...
Synergistic New Tesla Line...Any comments?
I have the Powercell 10SE mkII and have tried one of the Tesla power cords, so I follow this thread. Not surprising since we live in an ENTITLED society. Instead of taking action to improve ones situation, just complain complain … 11-20-12: Knghif...
