| Yet another Discrete R2R Multibit Dac, this one from Audio GD. I think Halo or someone does something similar, some sort of feedback correction to get accurate resistor tolerances. Just noticed it has a TCXO (temperature controlled) clock as well, with (PCM / DXD / DSD Native support. Being done by Audio ... | |
| Fuses fuses fuses zavato OP802 posts07-26-2017 9:51amSo, who thinks I should delete this thread? +1 shut it down, as it’s in the "Technical Forum" and there nothing technical being said for why they would be giving better sound or sound different when reversed. It... | |
| How will I know when a Krell KSA-80b needs to be recapped? PS: there are also a few other smaller electrolytic caps around the input/driver board that should be done also at the same time. Cheers George | |
| How will I know when a Krell KSA-80b needs to be recapped? Great amp but getting old now over 14 years, depends on how many turn on cycles it’s had, but I would do them. You can get say Nichicons same voltage and maybe even more micro farads for around $100 each, you need 4 of them. Make sure the diameter ... | |

| Fuses fuses fuses I have a lot more engineering science under my belt than you two guys put together. You directed this statement at Almarg and Ralph!!!!! you really are certifiable. You've also been laughed off many other technical forums by even higher technica... | |
| Fuses fuses fuses And this thread is only about fuses. If it were "just " about fuses, this thread wouldn’t even have to go over a few intelligent technical posts. This is more about some here who want to make out that $$$ fuses have some hidden magic (voodoo) to b... | |
| Does my laptop need to be grounded when charging? I feel a slight fuzziness as if there is stray voltage going through me. It is not a shock per se and the sensation goes away when the charger is unplugged. SMP (switch mode) chargers will do that if not well designed.Cheers George | |

| Fuses fuses fuses bdp242,496 postsYeah, Roger Modjeski (and Ralph Karsten) are deaf. Amazing how they can, in spite of that, design and build such good sounding electronics (and in the case of Modjeski, ESL loudspeakers). Beethoven incarnate! And you, Geoff, you ... | |
