^ I am very pleased with the LTA. When I want a candlelight lstening, I use it's one watt to drive my 98db Omega speakers. Phono pre is Herron VTPH-2A

^ standard, with the blue Cinemag and some very nice NOS tubes. It is an exceptional phono pre, but that Herron was a significant upgrade. It's so darn musical!

Herron VTPH-2A Phono Preamp....anyone familiar?
I think VTPH-2A would be a huge improvement over the Parasound Jr. It easily bested any solid state phono pre I've tried, be it op-amp or discrete. It is an end of journey piece, IMO.
