Putting your components inbetween your speakers.
According to Jim Smith , the author of the book, Get Better Sound, he states that you should not place your gear between your speakers.  It will have a negative affect on imagining.  FYI. 
Internet radio, streaming, and CD player.

Speaker recommendation for mc452 and C2600
I have the 425 driving PSB T-3.  I love it.  Unfortunately the T-3 are ported.  They are approximately 27 inches from the back wall.  
Getting an outlet to grip better..
Replace it with an Audioquest Edison outlet and you will need a wrench to get the cord out.

The honest answer is ........no. I would not perceive a major difference.  Subtle. 
Need advice about upgrading speakers ( it might be the last one i own).
About a year ago I purchased the PSB T-3.  I just love them.  Very smooth, non-fatiguing, detailed.  I could listen to them all day.

Well, I bought the 5000 and hooked it up on Friday.  It has improved my system.  Bass is more authoritative.  Vocals more distinct and forward.  Never thought that I would say this, but there is more "air" around the instruments.  Noticeable audio...

I live in a suburb of Chicago.  When I am at the manufacturer's website I am lead to believe, that regardless of the ac noise, these to units would impart a sonic improvement to my equipment.  I read a favorable review in a print mag about 2-3 mon... 
Top PSB speakers .
I have a pair and I find them to be just so smooth.  I can listen to them all day.  Not fatiguing one bit. Detailed, maybe a bit on the warm side. Extremelytight bass. Highly recommended.  The best speakers I have ever owned.  These replaced Revel...

Just bought a pair of PSB T3s.  I love them.  Not fatiguing.  Look great and sound fabulous.
