Cayin TA 30 as mono block?
Not sure about using the TA-30' as monoblocks but Paul (Bizzybee) died about a year ago and his website with him. I would imagine you would probably need to use a bridging device of some sort but I'm really not sure. I'll leave that for someone in...
A Great Deal on Audiogon
it appears these are rated at 19 ohms and wouldn't require a beast of an amp to drive them properly, sounds like a Set lovers dream. FWIW there is a sale pending
A Great Deal on Audiogon
I actually think they look kinda cool and no less riduculous looking then many of those monster planar type speakers out there
The Audio Research Reference 10 is here $30k
That's great news, I'm going to run out right now and purchase two of them, and then anxiously await the release of their next latest and greatest reference model

It's time for a good CD player.
If you can find a Eastsound E-9 somewhere grab it, especially for the prices they are fetching today on the used market. They weigh in at 20+ lbs and are built like tanks. They were all the rave 5-6 years ago with many people comparing them to pla...

Not looking to take a jab here but are you aware this thread is 7 years old?
Looking for a power conditioner/regenerator/filter
Is it me or is spending upwards of $3000.00 + for power conditioners that may or may or may not make a difference seem a little overkill? For that kind of money it better make a huge difference. Does the OP have reason to believe his AC is comprom...
Grant Fidelity Amplifiers
Mickeyf: Thanks for the heads up. That teflon cap thread is a little disturbing. Never knew very much about GF as I never purchased anything from them but alot of folks seem to be gaga about the Treasure tubes, I found them to be a little pricey a...
Grant Fidelity Amplifiers
Not quite sure what the "All marketing spin" quote is supposed to mean either. I've never heard the amp before and was merely steering the OP to a review of the amp over at AA of which I have absolutely no affiliation with whatsoever. If you read ...
Grant Fidelity Amplifiers
Someone recently reviewed the Rita over at AA and had nothing but high praise for it. It certainly seems like a steal at it's current pricing but I believe the caveat is that it comes with no warranty, but don't quote me on that
