| Eagles "Hotel California" reissue on Elektra 180g Bad pressing, demand a full refund. For what it's worth Hotel California on Mobile Fidelity is one of the best they made imo. Look around on Ebay or Amazon for one. The records that are being made today are mostly bad. | |
| Eagles "Hotel California" reissue on Elektra 180g Ask for another one,you may have got a bad pressing. Does it say it was mastered from the original master? If you get another one and it does it again,it's a bad pressing and get a full refund. | |

| Great 'Alternative' Rock recommendations When I used to ride my stationary bike my favorite CD to work out to was The Spaghetti Incident by Guns and Roses. A lot of energy on this offering, covers of punk classics from Iggy to New York Dolls. I still listen to it when I walk on my treadmill. | |
| Best jazz covers of rock songs Check out "You Inspire Me" by Curtis Stigers. The cd is outstanding and he covers songs from Dylan to The Kinks and John Sebaston to John Lennon. | |

| Ozric Tentacles Anyone? Yeah rule of thumb on Ozric Tentacles all their stuff starts to sound the same. So two or three of their catalog should be enough. Strangeitude is my fave and erpland runs a close second. I do like Jurassic Shift though. Be aware that they do have... | |

| Desert island catalogues Although he's an acquired taste,Tom Waits comes to mind. His mediocre recordings always have a nugget or two you play the record to hear. | |
| Do unused channels need exercise? I don't know about going bad but at least once a month I use all posistions on my pre amp. I switch from Tuner to Cd to Aux to Tape just to run some current through it. I switch from Stereo to Reverse to Mono. I turn the loudness all the way up an... | |

| Anyone catch Robin Trower on tour? Saw him back in the day with Procul Harum,The Broken Barricades tour. One of the tightest bands I've ever seen live,Trower blew the roof off of The Santa Monica Civic with his solo on Whaling Stories. Great concert. |
