What Does Holographic Sound Like?
Ivan_nosnibor,You stated, "Should they ever wish for more, they have only to return to meaningfully removing yet more of the distortions, wherever in the system that may turn out to be."I think this is the key to the problem. You have hit the nail...
What Does Holographic Sound Like?
Holography is a story of increments. There are many stages in the process. Please read below. Each increment has improved the holographic imaging. Some increments have had a bigger impact on the sound than others. Holography goes hand-in-hand with...
Isolation Devices: Any Good Ones?
Theaudiotweak,The problem is that you are listening to my system with theoretical ears. You are not listening to my actual system.
Isolation Devices: Any Good Ones?
Theaudiotweak,It has also been proved scientifically that bees cannot fly. On the contrary. The result is very pleasing.
What Does Holographic Sound Like?
Rlwainwright,If you had read closely you would have seen that I was talking about holographic sound in my comments about cables.
Isolation Devices: Any Good Ones?
This thread reminds me of many others where people were falling all over themselves LOL-ing in public about Synergistic Research products and Bybee products and some other unusual products they had never tried. Jack Bybee made a controversial comm...
Isolation Devices: Any Good Ones?
Davidpritchard,Thanks for your impressions. I have been looking at them but have not heard from anyone who has actually used them -- before your comments.
Where's Alan Maher?
Astralnavigator,Can you explain, please? There are a lot of folks using his products.

Cable elevators - conventional wisdom wrong?
I have so many wires in my system that I needed to come up with something novel to get them off the floor. I use a 3-shelf wicker book stand and I snake the wires through and around the wicker. This works very well for me.
Taming edge from remastered CDs?
Ghosthouse,It takes a lot more than a power conditioner and a lot more than $1000 to really clean up AC, in my experience. There is no quick fix -- no single device will do the complete job. It is the synergy of many elements that accomplished thi...
Isolation Devices: Any Good Ones?
Stanwal,I had the SR MIGS and sold them off. The sand boxes blew them out of the ball park. Sand boxes may not look pretty but since the music is the most important thing you lose sight of them pretty fast.
Isolation Devices: Any Good Ones?
Schoff,I use large Tupperware-style containers filled with dry sand under all my components as well as speakers. This is the best I have found and I have used many isolation devices, some very expensive and well-known ones. The sand boxes beat the...
