KEF LS50 or Wharfedale Reva 2 -- which would you buy?
I agree with dolsey about Sonus Faber Venere. In my opinion they are in the same sound family as B&W (and also cone materials) but in my listening test Venere did not suffer the cupped hand coloration. I guess they are using higher order cross...
KEF LS50 or Wharfedale Reva 2 -- which would you buy?
And to add to the MOnitor Audio Silver comparison, I brought the LS50 at my friend’s who has Silver Line floorstander and we concluded LS50 sounded clearer and more transparent in the mids.
KEF LS50 or Wharfedale Reva 2 -- which would you buy?
Here are my two cents:I own LS50s for three years and I’ve never heard the Revas but I’ve heard other Wharfedale’s models and other speakers that employ woven kevlar or carbon fibre and they all had two very characteristic colorations that I didn’...
LS-50 Speakers (Passive)

About to purchase the Kef LS50W speaker want opinions about set up....
Congrats on your choice Matt!I heard the LS50w in Munich High-end society, right after I auditioned the KEF Muons. I could swear, the LS50w were every bit as transparent as the Muons, if not tonally better. The bass of the Muons in that room overw...
The one component that you wish you had not bought
A pair of B&W 685 speakers. The always receive rave reviews and I even listened them in two sessions before buying, but made a mistake of carrying with me my prefered music which is mainly jazz trios (bass, piano, drums). These are devil angel ...
