Does anyone have Magnum XM tuners?
I got DirecTV HD with 50+ XM stations in my package. I pass the digital out of my receiver via TOSLINK to a Meridian 518 (switching all my digital sources) and then S/PDIF to my Museatex Melior DAC. Sounds as good as a compressed source is going t...
Which "Kind of Blue". I'm so confused
Slothman, you got me. Actually I'm a CIA mole looking for terrorist undercurrents in the audiophile communityIt's a known fact that terroists listen to Miles before visiting Allah. Quite refreshing to see how thrifty the CIA is these days.

Erpland was much more enjoyable to me. 'Mysticum Arabicola'is a lot of fun. The title cut had me fantasizing - what if Geddy Lee would keep his mouth shut for an album and Rush put out something like this? Some of these cuts will definitely make m...
Looking for an acoustic guitar recording..
I'm surprised that Ed Gerhard is not mentioned in this thread. His "Live Album" is an excellent recording. "Luna" as well.
Ozric Tentacles Anyone?
Picked up Erpland in the used bin at my local haunt. Will give it a go tonight.
Ozric Tentacles Anyone?
I had picked up 'The Floor's Too Far Away' and was kind of on the fence. It has it's moments but I didn't like the way the guitar tracks were done. Perhaps not the best introduction to this band?

Pat Travers - Crash and Burn, side one. One of the best sides in my rock collection. Excellent recording - kudos to the engineers.I posted this days ago and quoted another post I made about it. There's a piece of trivia I wanted to share. They cen...
