My home-brew speaker stand feet: squash balls cut in half (the American variety, not squishy softballs), filled with portland cement with a bolt set therein. Nothing and I mean nothing gets from the floor up to the speakers. Black as obsidian. 
Speakers to hang on to for LIFE
Last year's purchase of Guru QM-10s are a revelation for me and I'll probably hang on to them until I can afford the QM-60s or something comes along that can outpace their amazing musical flexability, price point and compact size.
