LOL, by looking, it would seem the audyssey system would be the way to go but a bit pricey I think. Especially since many subs are coming with the technology already in them and I am SURE processors will soon have a dedicated tuning area for subs ...

Did I misunderstand the SMS? I thought you could use the auto correct as well as adjust manually if you like? That is not the case? The screen shots I saw look to have sliders that can be adjusted.

Thanks. The 8033 is out. Not enough functionality for me. Would be nice if they at least had a PC connection to visually inspect and correct manually is desired.

Because my system doubles for 2CH use and HT, SQ is a high concern. I am also trying to reduce the noise floor. My current Denon 2802 does NOT impress and I consider it's sound rather grainy and harsh. I am told just having the new auto EQ systems...

My reasoning for the Emotiva pre is the price point, reported SQ, and features. I need HDMIs, USB, auto EQ, and all for under a grand. I would rather buy used but even used, pres with all these features would be a stretch. Why go with Emco amps ov... 
klipsch kg4's have no kick in the mid, need mods
They are the early model and I was really thinking of selling them anyway to upgrade. I am wanting to stay with klipsch and get the rf-7s.
