Well, I can imagine, very theoretically speaking, buying $10k cables but only after extensive audition and comparisons and provided I have near top end system. Would be more difficult with hard earned dollars than with not so hard. It's America, my friends, invest right and do nothing else. Now that would very hard earned cash. Oh yeah, where do you get funds to invest ? You borrow or inherit or save up a little, or even steal. Life is easy, some just don't know it.
It's a good question indeed. Also, why did we go wrong ? And why might we be losing a distinction between right and wrong ? Multiple alternative realities, my a$$.
" Troll convention" sounds good to me.
ebm hates money so much that he uses every opportunity trying to free himself of it. Doesn't happen and looks almost hopeless.
I guess, $10k amp is no longer considered expensive. What makes people think that it is always more difficult to design great amp than design great cable ?
Great stuff, whatever it is, has the right to cost anything and go to the highest bidder. I would be more upset about $5k so-so cables than $10k excellent cables.
I see no reason not to discuss any cable regardless of price, let's just not get fixated on price. The same with any other piece of equipment.
That's reason enough not to buy $10k cables and Ferraris - not to be associated in any way with those f*****s. And you don't need such an expensive gun for a bullet to go straight to the target.
Real money is earned money, my audiophile friend, but of course you already know it.
